It started in 2008 with just 4 children. With persistent efforts and hardwork from the team, they are able to provide not only shelter, food and education to a number of under-privileged children, but also carved out a home and reason for living for them. It is a pleasure to know the fact that these blossming buds are provided with enough love and care to make them self sufficient emotionally, physically and economically. In order to meet the demand of the place, the team go door-to-door and collect the donations. We are trying to carve out a disciplined lifestyle in children. Many people don't realize that there is a poverty issue in Bangalore, just like there is in any other Indian city. To serve this growing problem, Mother Teresa Children's Orphanage is dedicated to the care and nurturing of Bangalore’s most vulnerable residents: orphaned or abandoned children. Through the support of local businesses and friends, we are currently caring for over 25 children, providing a home, daily meals, clean clothes, education and most importantly: love.
